We've just arrived back after a torrential downpour during the England vs. Canada match which may have to be replayed during the rest day.
But despite this sudden change of weather we played our match in the midday sun. After a slightly rushed warm-up due to watches being out of sync, we managed to pick up the pace with a fiery anthem and great first shot from Lottie V-P #8 (mvp of the match followed by her famous rendition of the hoedown throwdown)!!
After a quick re-bound goal by the Netherlands the welsh dragons soon found their feet to storm ahead for a convincing win of 19-2.
Despite not seeing the Aussies face to face on the pitch yet, we have had many run ins with them in the hotel after Skippy (their team kangaroo mascot) mysteriously went missing. We are keeping close watch on David the dragon as they are out to get us!
Team USA have invited us for a friendly ice cream tonight so you will hear more from us tomorrow.......BRING ON THE GERMANS
